Dear King Abdullah:

I have studied the Islam faith begun in your country and have read on your embassy’s web site the line of steadfast commitment each successive king has had in first and foremost preserving your faith. We here in America have our own rich religious heritage; but unlike you have forsaken and forgotten it, and this to our degradation and ruin. George Washington, our first president, wisely warned: “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.” Unlike your nation, we have not kept religion and morals first, but as in the original Garden of Eden have “listened to the voice of [the] woman,” and thereby have corrupted our own garden!

I applaud and greatly respect you and your people for keeping your religion and morals first and foremost, and for having preserved and respected the vital line of distinction between men and women—the very cause for our own moral, civil, and social downfall. You are a nation more righteous than America, and rightfully shame us for our aberrant immoral and immodest behavior.

I have noted in the last few months how our nation’s press has been condemning your nation’s just morality, especially regarding the issue of the place of the woman. As an American who recognizes that it is instead we who have sinned and forsaken the wisdom of our forefathers, I sincerely apologize for our foolishness, beg your forgiveness, urge your disdain of our foolish behavior, and pray for your perseverance to maintain those high and just standards. Our nation has ignored the wisdom of our founding father, Thomas Jefferson, who warned that if women were ever allowed to vote or participate in government, it would bring the “depravation of morals and ambiguity of issue,” and that women “could not mix promiscuously in the public meetings of men.” Shamefully, this is exactly what we have sown and reaped in this nation! We were a shining light on a hill; but as spoken by Yahshua, our eye has become bad, and our body is thereby filled with darkness.

At our nation’s founding, our forefathers carefully examined “Blackstone’s Commentaries” and recognized and followed their wisdom and truth, which instructed: “By marriage, the husband and wife are one person in law; that is, the very being or legal existence of the woman is suspended during the marriage, or at least is incorporated and consolidated into that of the husband, under whose wing, protection, and cover she performs every thing; and is, therefore, called in our law—French a feme-covert, faemina viro cooperta; is said to be covert-baron, or under the protection and influence of her husband, her baron, her lord; and her condition, during her marriage, is called her coverture.”

We as a nation once upheld this Biblical truth that when a man and a woman are joined in marriage, the two become one flesh under the husband’s headship, and the “one person, one vote” principle we espouse duly meant that the man’s vote represented, upheld, and preserved this divine union and government. But to our shame and destruction we repeated the Garden of Eden, listened to the voice of the woman, ate of the forbidden fruit, ignored the wisdom and truth of our forefathers, and gave women the right to vote (among other like wholly destructive ills). Because of this, the warning of revered Mrs. Annie Wittenmyer around 1879 has been fulfilled—women receiving the right to vote has struck “a fatal blow at the home,” as well as at our nation!

Equally at our nation’s founding and up to the Curse that came upon us in 1920, our women covered their heads in prayer and dressed modestly. We had been a nation ordered and directed by morals and religion. But like any nation, we had the seeds of demise within us, and they took root and sprang up! Today, those who are more righteous than we and justly judge us, call us “the Great Satan”! Based on the corruption of our morals; our forsaking of foundational religious and civil values; our usurping the God-ordained place of the man; our propagation of immoral and destructive filth in music, entertainment, pornography, clothing, advertising, divorce, and abortion; we as a nation are indeed the Great Satan! Only when we realize this will we be able to repent and return to the wisdom and moral virtue of our founding fathers.

Once again, I praise you for your firm and steadfast moral and religious beliefs. Do not let this nation’s moral demise, blindness, and foolish accusations and expectations dissuade or change you. We are the ones who are wrong, and as an American I ask your forgiveness for our foolishness as the Great Satan. Some would call me a Benedict Arnold for humbling myself to you; but in fact such guilt lies with our treasonous acts against the founding principles upon which this nation was built. I say this with grave concern for my country. We were not always this way. Forgive us, for we know not what we do—condemning those who are more righteous than we.

Very Sincerely,

Gary D. Naler
